About NOMADIA

NOMADIA is a four-day immersive gathering designed for connection, growth, and community. It brings together vanlifers, nomads, and aligned adventurers to co-create a temporary village rooted in participation, creativity, and shared responsibility.

Yes, but not in the traditional sense. While there will be music and art, NOMADIA is not centered around headliners or passive entertainment. It’s a participatory, community-first experience where you’re part of what makes it meaningful.

NOMADIA prioritizes connection over consumption. Workshops are interactive, attendees are contributors, and the culture is intentionally designed around communication, consent, and community growth, not just partying.

The Good Vibe Collective is a volunteer-led nomadic community founded in 2017. We’ve hosted 50+ gatherings focused on connection and are now expanding into a larger, more immersive event with NOMADIA.

NOMADIA is built on the same values, but it’s a fully produced experience. With our free gatherings, things are more spontaneous and simple. NOMADIA requires more infrastructure. We’re investing in things like land permits, insurance, equipment, sanitation, sound, and creating a safe, intentional environment where everything flows.

The ticket isn't about profit. It's about covering what it takes too create a safe, intentional, and fully supported space where people can drop in more deeply.

Experience

Intentionally Designed Culture

NOMADIA draws from over a decade of exploring global festivals and hosting over 50 community gatherings since 2017. The artists and facilitators are collaborators we’ve grown with, not transactional bookings. The event reflects lessons learned from both inspiring moments and common festival pitfalls.

Participatory Programming

Workshops are collaborative, not lecture-based. From sunrise movement sessions to skill sharing circles and immersive art spaces, attendees engage with each other directly.

Dedicated Reflection Spaces

Men’s and women’s group spaces offer intentional containers for deeper conversation and personal growth alongside the larger communal experience.

Intimate Scale

Smaller, intimate gathering, intentionally capped to preserve meaningful interaction.

Location

Cook’s Valley Ranch in Humboldt County, Northern California, along the Eel River.

The location offers a rare mix of natural beauty, privacy, and infrastructure with river access, open land for camping, and a setting that supports both play and deeper connection.

Attendance

NOMADIA is for vanlifers, overlanders, digital nomads, and anyone aligned with community, growth, and intentional living.

Camping & Pets

Vehicle-based camping (vans, RVs, overlanders) and tent camping will both be available.

Expect basic festival infrastructure such as porta-potties, designated camping areas, a food/kitchen station and shared gathering spaces for art, connection and play.  In addition we will be providing cuddle lounges near the stages as well as a tea lounge for people to get tea and water to stay hydrated during the festival.

I’m glad you asked!  Because NOMADIA is situation on the Eel River, providing access to the river to stay cool during the day and enjoy the beautiful nature that this amazing site provides.  Check out the map to see how close we are to the river and the Redwoods!

Safety & Logistics

Fire rules will follow local regulations and conditions at the time of the event. If permitted, designated areas and safety protocols will be required.

  • Community First

  • Authentic Expression

  • Enthusiastic Consent

  • Conflict Resolution

  • Self-Reliance + Shared Responsibility

  • Leave No Trace

  • Inclusivity

  • Play with Purpose
